Q INTERVIEW REPORT INSTRUCTIONS Interviews Please note: These interviews are not counseling sessions. DO NOT INTERVIEW ANYONE WHO MAY BE HARMED BY DISCUSSING THE INCIDENT(S). Discuss… - What occurred. - How it affected him or her. - What steps he or she took to deal with the resulting issues/problems. - Current status. - How a pastoral counselor could have intervened Present the results in a written narrative for each interviewee. When writing your reports, consider the Phases of a Crisis we covered in Week 2 (See Wright, ch 8). Also, consider materials from Floyd (chs 1-2) and Wright (ch 7) as they pertain to crisis and trauma. This assignment relates to learning outcomes A, B, D, E.

Interviewee 1 – In case of Interviewee 1 (male), there had been repeated instances of child maltreatment through the use of physical abuse. The physical abuse had been done by his father. The age of the male victim had been 6 years from which the physical abuse had started. He is now 18 years old but still the physical abuse continues. The male victim’s father used to work in a foreign country from the time of his birth.
